Welcome to Big Time Fights - the evolution of Lion's Road. Big Time Fights is a combat sports promotion based out of Montreal, Quebec which is owned by Brunet Sports and Entertainment. Beau Brunet serves as company president. Big Time Fights aims to promote top fighters, marquee title fights and "interesting" bouts.
Overview
Essentially, Lion's Road is a fed where professional wrestling is for all intents and purposes a legitimate sport alongside mixed martial arts and boxing. The rules are enforced, fines are given for breaking said rules and there's no over the top shenanigans. The promotion emphasizes a fighter's skills, conditioning and mental toughness. Competition is fierce as fighters are aiming to earn win bonuses for each bout, move up the rankings and earn title shots and in turn, the big championship bonus. The roster is comprised of prizefighters, those who compete to win and reap the monetary benefits of a victory. Sure, there's bound to be a fighter or two who just likes to fight with no regard for the win/loss column but by and large, these fighters are sportsmen.
Basic Rules
We are a monthly angled efed that uses original character creations. My primary goal in feds is to have fun and give a solid platform for others to have fun participating in. I understand that not everyone is going to get along or like each other, but if you're here in my fed I expect you to remain civil with all parties. If that's too great a challenge, then there's plenty of other feds that'll have you. For those that can, read on...
We only accept original characters - no real wrestlers, no cosplay, no blatant ripoffs. Similarly, plagiarism is not permitted. Borrowing an idea, paying homage or using song lyrics - that's all well and good, but copying a Dusty Rhodes promo almost verbatim is most certainly not.
If you no-show your debut without notice, you're done. If you no-show consecutive shows without notice, you'll be removed from the roster regardless of your standing. I am only a PM away so if you're having real-life struggles or whatever then alert me and I can accommodate you.

Feedback is important! Feedback lets me know how these shows are landing with you, the reader. I don't want my ass kissed, I genuinely want to know what you enjoyed in the shows and what you think we can improve on. My role as a fedhead improves through these means, I'm not going to be hot because you left constructive criticism or told me something misfired. Same with discussions, if I pitch an idea and all I get is "that's cool!"... I mean, it's COOL yes but let's facilitate conversation: ask questions, propose a scenario, etc. I'm happy to explain my thought process.
If you want to use another handlers' character(s) in your segment or piece, you must obtain their permission. You may utilize staff characters in these promos/segments without asking me, but any violence or roughing 'em up is not permitted.

Activity Guidelines
How does one get ahead in an angled fed? Well, in my angled feds - it's all about participation. Someone who's actively involved in the fed, whether it be submitting segments, responding to the news bits, posting on the reactions board, leaving feedback on the shows or helping out the newbies in the OOC section. If you show that you're dedicated to the fed through contribution then you will be rewarded in kind. Of course the story is also important - if you are writing a compelling character arc that leaves myself and other members invested in whether your character wins or losses, then you're on the right track. Tell your story.
Segments
You are invited to submit segments to be included on our shows. Given our style, the segments should be straightforward - fighters training, interviews/promos, "music video" style or vlog style of what your fighter has been doing prior to fight night. If you have any idea but you're not sure how it'll land, then PM me - the worst I can say is no.
Conclusion
Lion's Road has always been about building characters and compelling stories so this next step in our story is no different. I'm no Sixers fan, but "trust the process" - I'm not writing to make anyone look weak. I want to take what you give me with your characters and serve something back to see how you return the ball to me. A constant back and forth.
