BRIEF HISTORY -
“The Absolute” Austin Anderson was a world class submission specialist out of the New England area. He was one of the original roster members of the old Pro Wrestling Alliance of Prime Time Wrestling, Real American Wrestling and Velocity Pro Wrestling. Having wrestled for each company a number of times, Anderson was highly regarded as one of the best that the PWA had to offer. His battle against the likes of David Fish, Amor and Paul Grey are the stuff of legends. He collected quite a few titles during his day but after the financial struggles of both RAW and VPW really started to go downhill, the PTW claimed the top spot and bought out the failing PWA members.
Based out of Los Angeles, the PTW focused strongly on characters and looks. Being a man of the mat, Anderson quickly realized that his style of game would not really work out so he packed his bags and headed north to the Canadian Federation of Wrestling. It was here that Austin started to tour over in Japan for Japan Pro and added some serious striking ability to his move set. Battling the likes of Hiro, Wes and Mike Gunn, Anderson would continue to add to his already impressive resume and trophy case. After a great few years, Austin Anderson decided to give his body a break and return to his hometown where he opened his wrestling school. One of his first students would enter up being “the Butcher” Josh Williams. The rest of the book remains to be written.
